Equine-Assisted Learning for Personal Growth & Leadership Development
The special bond that exists between humans and horses has been studied for generations. By including the horse as an integral member of the learning experience, human behavior patterns are revealed in a truly memorable, captivating manner. Our consultants expand the learning and application process with the client during our debriefing sessions, with the ultimate objective of bringing forward healing, transformation, and greater connection with others.
In our firm’s training and coaching activities with individuals and groups, we have found that Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) facilitates impactful change and leads to lasting benefits – even in just one session!

This dynamic learning process includes the client (no prior experience with horses is required), a horse chosen for this type of work, an equine-certified trainer, plus a horse handler aide. Each session is designed to explore key issues facing the client, such as:
• Adapting to change
• Dealing with conflict
• Enhancing self-esteem
• Improving relationships
• Overcoming obstacles
Horses read and respond almost instantly to a person’s energy, based on what they are sensing. The horse’s behavior thus provides an immediate mirror to the client, allowing them to identify and process new awarenesses, and thereby discover new answers for themselves.
For organizational groups, the focuses of our EAL sessions typically include enhancing leadership, building teams and self-awareness, improving communications and individual responsiveness. We also specialize in tailoring sessions for veterans and individuals with physical or mental disabilities.
We offer introductory events in the San Diego, CA area. Depending on your location, our Equine Assisted Learning activities can be designed as a special element and added into several of our seminars, such as Embracing the New and Recharge and Renewal® for Life. Private coaching sessions are also available in the Southern California area.
